Maxime Sainte-Marie is postdoctoral researcher at the Danish Center for Studies on Research and Research Policy and adjunct professor at the Centre Interuniversitaire de Recherche sur la Science et la Technologie. He also worked as data scientist and postdoctoral researcher at the Canada Research Chaire on the Transformations of Scholarly Communication and the Érudit Consortium.
Formed in Canada, Denmark, Sweden, and Belgium, he holds a Ph.D. summa cum laude in Cognitive Computing and a Masters in philosophy from the Université du Québec à Montréal, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Université de Montréal.
Lying at the computational crossroads between Social Sciences, Humanities, and Information Science, his research aims to tackle issues pertaining to scholarly communication and communities through the joint and automated use of quantitative and linguistic techniques.
